M for Mabel

Check out Mabels cool Cardi. It was a Christmas present from Auntie Sian. It has been customised with neon yellow ribbon and has a huge M on the back. It's still a bit big but that's fine, she will grow into it nicely.

Let It Snow

Mabel spent her first Christmas in the snow, as we spent it in our Chalet Les Bruns in the Alps. It was lovely but it meant as Mabel was only 5 months old we needed something really good and cosy for her when we were out and about.

I spent a lot of time looking and found some nice things that were quite reasonably priced, as she would only wear it for a few weeks in total after all! I plumped for this pink Columbia beauty, which I actually got from eBay in the end. It has been great but do make note, it was super warm, so perfect for really cold conditions. A bit too good for some of the cold days we had here though.

Mimi's Circus

How gorgeous is this poster????? I think it's pretty obvious why I love it so much. It probably has something to do with the Collar the pretty lady is wearing but it is also the colours and naivity of it. I just really really like it. I like a lot of the prints and posters available on Mimi's Circus. It is such a good website for all things babies and kids. Loads of great ideas for presents and bedrooms!

A contender for Mabels bedroom!

Love Gingham for Girls

I love gingham for little girls. It is just so cute and reminds of pretty gingham dresses my Mum made for me when I was little.

I have found this really cute 3 piece set from Vertbaudet, which is available on the La Redoute website.

I can just see Mabel sat in the middle of meadow this Summer in this little number.

More Stripes!

Actually come to think of it, Mabel does already have quite a lot of stripes....... I must have forgotten that.

Here she is bouncing away in her Polarn O.Pyret navy and cream stripe tights, her beautiful Marimekko stripe long sleeved vest, which goes with everything and a gorgeous hawaiian print summer dress, which again is 3 months but still fits lovely. The dress was a present from God Parents Andy and Sian and the stripe vest was a present from everyone at Lulu Guinness. A very lucky girl indeed.

First Hairpiece!

Here is Mabel sporting her new sequin head band all the way from Australia. It was a present from Auntie Katy, who Mabel will meet for the first time next week. Yay! The head band is a bit big at the moment but it won't be long.

She also has on her super thick red and beige square pattern tights, which are super warm, I got these from one of my fave shops, Olive Loves Alfie and her beloved classic stripe Gap dress which is now more like a top. It's 3 months but Mabel still wears it as a top, just! Need to get some more stripes to replace it.

Spring has Sprung!

It has felt very Spring like today and Mabels outfit very much reflects this feeling. The dress is so pretty and colourful and worn over leggings with socks means she is not too cold either The pale pink cardigan was such a good buy. Mabel has had it for ages, it was one of the first things I bought and it was very naughty of me as it is actually cashmere! But, it still fits and its nice because it keeps her really warm but it's not too bulky.

Socks are from H&M
Leggings are cousin Katies
Dress is cousin Katies
Cardi is from Caramel

First Onesie

Mabels very first outfit was a cute star printed baby gro from John Lewis. It came with a maching hat but as it was such a hot day, we didn't really need it! Mabel was born on the 31st July 2011.
